Babka is made from an overnight sweet dough, which is rolled out thinly with 5 delicious flavours.

It is glazed while still hot and fresh out the oven with a sticky syrup glaze.

The filling is rich and decadent so this is a lovely tea time treat.

  • Dark Belgian Chocolate

Ingredients: Cake flour, full cream milk, sourdough yeast culture, sugar, butter, free range eggs, cocoa powder, 50% dark Belgian chocolate, spring water, milk powder, sea salt (un iodated).

  • Apple Crumble Babka

Ingredients: Cake flour, full cream milk, sourdough yeast culture, sugar, butter, free range eggs, apple slices, spring water, cinnamon, milk powder, sea salt (un iodated).

  • Peanut Butter and salted caramel Babka

Ingredient: Stoneground Cake flour, full cream milk, sourdough yeast culture, sugar, butter, free range eggs, peanut butter, semolina, cream, spring water, milk powder, vanilla essence, sea salt (un iodated).

  • Lemon curd and berry Babka

Ingredients: Stoneground Cake flour, full cream milk, sourdough yeast culture, sugar, butter, free range eggs, semolina, mixed berries, red plums, lemon juice and zest, spring water, milk powder, vanilla essence, sea salt (un iodated).

  • Milktart and fudge crumble Babka

Ingredients: Stoneground Cake flour, full cream milk, sourdough yeast culture, sugar, butter, free range eggs, semolina, condensed milk, cinnamon, spring water, milk powder, vanilla essence, sea salt (un iodated).

Additional information

STORING NOTE:

Store well wrapped. Will last up to 2 days. If storing in the fridge, keep well wrapped and use within 2 days as product will get crumbly and dry.

HEATING NOTE: 

Defrost product completely.
Preheat oven to 180°C.
Bake for about 8 -10 minutes until soft and warm to the touch.
Alternatively you can pop a slice in the microwave for a few seconds.

FREEZER NOTE: 

You can freeze the Babkas, but you won't get the same result as the crumb will dry out in the freezer. Alternatively cover with cream, some jam or custard and pop in the oven until heated though for a pudding.
